College Navigator

The National Center for Education Statistics is quite possibly the best tool for students and parents/guardians looking for important data regarding the colleges and universities on their prospectus list.  Still it is not perfect.  College Navigator organizes thousands of colleges according to a diverse set of metrics, providing a large amount of institutional detail in one location.  The National Association of College Admissions Counselors has provided a short tutorial for those unfamiliar with how to use the NCES site.


Financial Aid Resources
File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid - opens Jan. 1 of each year for the following school year, may file using previous year's tax info., then update after taxes are filed.
